On 4 July 2022, the Scottish Government launched a consultation on new legislation with yet further proposals for Scottish Land Reform
Ross is a partner in the real estate team, specialising in land and rural property. He is dual qualified to practise in Scotland and England and Wales. Ross’ clients include traditional landowners, farmers, family trusts and investors.
His wide-ranging rural expertise spans the purchase and sale of estates, farms, forestry, island properties, sporting rights and salmon fishings.
Ross also undertakes complex strategic land work advising on contracts associated with major projects regularly acting for consortia of landowners.
Ross’ expertise extends to renewables and he deals in all aspects of advising in relation to proposed and existing schemes.
