The Government has this week published a policy update on its plans for 'Farming for the future' . This sets out further detail about its agricultural policy for England and how the new Agriculture Bill aims to achieve this.
At the same time, the Government has also set out its proposals for the new Environmental Land Management scheme, which will replace the EU farming subsidy regime, and will be consulting on the details with farmers, land managers and other interested parties over the next 10 weeks.
