On 30 October, the FCA published finalised guidance advising insurance and premium finance firms on how they can help customers of insurance and premium finance products who are in financial difficulty due to the COVID-19 pandemic, after 31 October 2020.
The guidance outlines the support firms should provide to consumers who have already had a payment deferral and those who have found themselves newly in financial difficulty as a result of the pandemic.
